EHS Technologies, a defense contracting company focusing mainly on Department of the Navy support has been recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer as one of the top 25 small businesses throughout the Delaware Valley region.  The recognition is the result of a companywide survey that asks employees to offer feedback on pay and benefits, leadership, direction, meaningfulness, appreciation and other areas that they feel are important to overall job satisfaction. This recognition comes at a time of leadership transition for EHS.  CEO and majority co-owner, William “Bill” Eckerle, after 28 years at the helm of the company, has made the decision for health and quality of life reasons, to turn over the reigns of CEO to co-owner and current CHRO, Denise Eckerle.  Mr. Eckerle will continue to function in an executive advisory and leadership role, while Ms. Eckerle, steps into the Chief Executive leadership position.

Denise Eckerle shared, “I am happy and excited for this opportunity”. Having served as the lead for HR, I am well aware of the number one reason for EHS’s success; our invaluable and loyal employees. Who as coincidence would have it, have recently helped EHS be recognized as a top place in our area to work.  I plan to continue focusing on taking care of them, and from that I am certain that EHS will continue to be successful in all the other aspects of Contract Management, Program Management and Business Development.”

EHS was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Moorestown NJ.  It is comprised of nearly 150 employees who provide technical engineering, IT, cyber security, software and hardware engineering, systems and network engineering, logistics, program management, and environmental products and services to the Department of Navy (DoN).
