Technical Manual Review

Senior members of EHS Technologies staff provide several documentation services for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ships Systems Engineering Station, (NSWC-CD, SSES).

Among these services are:

Perform Editorial and Technical Government review of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Technical (COTS) Manuals for acceptance or provide comments to ensure these manuals meet their intended use. Subtasks under this effort include a variety of manuals for various ship classes including LCS, CVN, DDG and LHD.

Verifying Contractor incorporation or resolution of Government provided comments in previously submitted HM&E manuals.

Provide Quality Assurance review of various HM&E manuals and verifying accurate conversion of the PDF files to Standard Generalized Markup Langue (SGML) format.

Converting SGML manuals to PDF format and verifying correctness of the conversion.

Make any and all corrections to SGML files.
