PHILADELPHIA, PA – EHS Technologies Corporation (EHS) was recently notified that it was awarded an Information Technology (IT)/Cyber Security services contract as the prime contractor from the US Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The contract is worth over $25 million over 5 years and requires EHS to provide IT infrastructure services, Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Computer Operations, and Next Generation Enterprise Network administration support services. EHS has been supporting NSWCPD’s IT infrastructure for over 8 years, most recently as subcontractor, and now EHS is pleased to shoulder prime responsibility in supporting this critical component of the Navy’s mission over the next 5 years. “The contract was a key win for EHS because it continues work we previously had been performing for the Navy in Philadelphia, under two previous contracts since 2008” commented EHS President Bill Eckerle. This contract award marks the 3rd prime contract award to EHS in the past 4 months, amounting to nearly $63 million in recent contracts awarded to EHS. These recent contract awards directly demonstrate the government’s confidence in the proven capabilities of EHS and our dedicated staff to deliver and perform intricate mission critical tasks. Mr. Eckerle commented further, “We are pleased to continue growing our positive relationship with the Navy here in Philadelphia, and are excited to continue expanding our IT capabilities in order to support the Navy’s Cyber Security initiatives.” EHS is a small business that recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, having been formed in November 1996 to provide IT, logistics, environmental, energetics and engineering services to the Department of Defense.
