MOORESTOWN, NJ – EHS Technologies Corporation (EHS) was recently notified in the last two weeks of the Government Fiscal Year that numerous proposals that it had submitted as a prime or subcontractor were accepted by the Government and resulted in the award of six new contracts. Two of the contracts were awarded to EHS as the Prime contractor. One was from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division in Philadelphia and the other with the Cartridge Actuated Device/Propellant Actuated Device (CAD/PAD) Joint Program Office (JPO) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (IHEODTD) in Indian Head, Maryland. The contract in Philadelphia was for network engineering services for U.S. Naval Surface Ships and is valued at ~$3.6 million. ‘The contract was a key win for EHS because it continues work we previously had been performing for the Navy in Philadelphia, San Diego and Norfolk under two previous contracts since 2008’ commented EHS President Bill Eckerle. The contract at NSWC IHEODTD is to provide technical and administrative services to the CAD/PAD JPO and is new work for EHS. The other 4 contracts were awarded to EHS Prime contractor teaming partners in Philadelphia, Virginia and Florida. Two contracts were awarded for integrated logistic support services for the Navy surface ships. The Prime contractors for those contracts are Life Cycle Engineering and AMSEC. The contract in Virginia was awarded by the Marine Corps Systems Command. It was awarded to Patricio Enterprises and will enable EHS and Patricio to continue providing warehousing and logistic support services to the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California. The last contract was awarded by the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida and it was awarded to EHS Teaming Partner Eagle Support Services Corporation. That contract involves engineering and technical support services in support of SOCOM. ‘We are very pleased with all of these wins’ commented Mr. Eckerle. ‘They allow us in some cases to continue work we have been performing for years and in the case of the SOCOM contract will enable us to now support a new customer that leads the US global fight on terrorism, as well as work in the Top Secret level of classification for the first time.’
